The Sanaghagara Waterfall is a waterfall of the Kendujhar district in the Indian state of Odisha."Sanaghagara" is an odiya word which means 'small waterfall'. This is one of the famous and charming picnic spots in Odisha, attracting large number of tourists.Sanaghagara is located at a distance of 5 km from the district headquarters of Kendujhar district.It is situated at a distance of 5 kilometers on the upstream of Badaghagara Waterfall.It is a perennial waterfall. The Machha Kandana, a small river, plunges from a height of 30.5 metres (100 ft) in two drops.

It is a small (100 ft. high) beautiful waterfall,surrounded by hills and forest suitable for outing. The area is spread over 488 Ha. In a hilly tract with characteristic mixed deciduous and miscellaneous type of forest vegetation.It creates huge sound while falling from hills. A pool is made out of water falling. The famous Sanaghagara waterfall with perennial stream attracts large number of visitors throughout the year. The area is an extremely undulating terrain with hills, pediments and a "V" shaped narrow valley. It is one of the famous picnic spots of Kendujhar District. The combination of waterfall, pool beside, rocks and greenery of forest cause natural scenario to look fantastic and worth watching.
